Walking 2h Circuit 6

Departure from the village of Camoël, between Damgan and Pénestin in southern Morbihan

Circuit 6: From the dam to the iron bridge

Duration: 2 hours

Number of kilometers: 8 kms

This tour allows you to browse the camoëlaise countryside and the many hamlets that compose it.

Its population of approximately 700 inhabitants is divided between dynamic agriculture and developing crafts. Its village, essential thanks to its geographical situation, offers to every walker a choice of local shops (boulangeire, restoration, lodging, service station).

The first church of Camoël, Romanesque, was destroyed and replaced around 1880 by the current building, dedicated to Saint Martin and overlooking the central square of the town, surrounded by small shops.

You will also appreciate the charm of long walks and hikes through the forests. You will take great marked trails, hyphen between Brière and Vilaine.

By continuing your walk outside the circuits that we have proposed, you will discover other riches of the town.

Indeed, Camoël is also declined through its picturesque and historic villages, Kergun and Kerbili and their mansions, the old mills, the presbytery today rehabilitated as a gite and dating from the end of the eighteenth century, Coralais and its tower...

You can then stroll near the pond of the Iron Bridge, located on the edge of the towns of Camoël and Assérac.

Avis

«Toujours très heureux pour cette 3 ème venue aux Embruns. Accueil chaleureux et attentif tout au long du séjour, nous avons même prolongé d'une nuit, merci à Annie-Paule et Paolo sans oublier leurs enfants. Nous sommes sûrs de revenir car nous n'avons pas encore tout découvert de cette belle région. Philippe et Agnès »
